Webdriver Scrotum (2017)

I created an automated YouTube channel, at first loosely inspired by Webdriver Torso. Click here to see it.

Showcased at The Wrong Biennale in the pavilion Homeostasis Lab.

Webdriver Torso was a mysterious YouTube channel that uploaded videos with a red and a blue rectangle and beeps. People theorized about secret organizations and alien signalling. It turned out to be a test channel made by YouTube itself.

Webdriver Scrotum started out doing the same but with human sounds and more colors, but has since grown out of its original purpose. Now it's mostly about unlimited video generation.

The channel is persistenly updated with new videos of shapes and pixels bounching around and generating new meaningless data.

There is no end in sight. I'm done creating the channel, now the channel is creating itself.
